Rachel Aronoff, LAC
Therapy can be a transformative process, helping you to engage more authentically in your life, in your relationships, and in your community. My therapeutic approach is informed by years of being a journalist, where I learned about the power of stories to heal. Today, I am committed to helping you tell your own story.
It might be helpful to know that my practice is holistic and trauma-informed: I use evidence-based approaches like psychodynamic therapy, narrative therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
If these words/acronyms are meaningless to you, welcome! Just know that I will try to tailor my approach to whatever you might need and ask for.
In that sense, therapy can be challenging (it can be hard to know and then ask for what you need!) And so, through therapy, I see an opportunity for exploration, experimentation, play, and growth. Together, we’ll rediscover your inherent resilience and build a deeper understanding of and compassion for yourself.
It takes courage to seek support, and I celebrate your decision to embark on this life-changing path towards healing and growth.
